We used hot glue and it worked great! You may want to try synthetic corks.

It may be the corks. Are you using natural corks or synthetic? We only used natural in all of ours and the glue worked great. You could also try using more glue!

I made pumpkins at Halloween and ended up using three different types of glue to get the corks to stay together. Any idea what I am doing wrong? I so want to make these snowmen because they are absolutely adorable.
