How to Make an Easter Bunny Plate with Cricut

DIY Easter Bunny Treat plate made with a dollar-store pizza pan, free Easter bunny plate SVG, permanent vinyl and a Cricut cutting machine. Create a one-of-a-kind tray for everyone’s favorite bunny and life-long memories with your kids.

Equipment

  • Cricut Cutting Machine
  • Cutting Mat if needed
  • Weeding tools

Materials

  • Permanent Vinyl
  • Transfer Tape
  • Dollar store pizza pan
  • Spray paint
  • SVG file

Instructions

  • Paint the pizza pan (optional). Set aside to dry completely.
  • Upload the Easter Bunny Plate SVG into Design Space. Add to canvas.
  • Use the "Shape" function to add a circle to the Design Space canvas. Make the circle the same size as your plate or pizza pan. Arrange the circle so that it is behind the SVG.
  • Resize the SVG so that it fits within the circle.
  • Hide the circle from the canvas.
  • Highlight the Easter Bunny Plate SVG and click "Attach."
  • Choose your cutting machine from the drop down menu at the top of Design Space and then click "Make It."
  • On the next screen choose mat or matless cutting. Click Continue.
  • On the next screen, make sure it is ready to cut. Click Continue.
  • Next, choose the vinyl you are using for the plate. Then follow the prompts to cut.
  • Once the machine is done cutting the vinyl, unload it.
  • Weed the design by removing the excess vinyl. You may want to cut the design into smaller pieces for easier weeding.
  • Use Transfer Tape to put the vinyl on the pizza pan.
